Let us agree that telephones are a comfort, and there rings should be a pleasant reminder; "hey buddy. You're wanted. Hey buddy, you're wanted. Hey buddy, you're wanted."
France, however, is populated with murderous telephones, rings that scream, "fuck you asshole! Get out of bed! You are my bitch!" Ringing that causes internal injuries. Below you'll find evidence of what I can only describe as ear rape:
