Deadpool

Yes, I did. I spent $7 for Crank 2. I had high hopes...well...high enough. I enjoyed the first Crank, a romp through LA. The sequel Crank: High Voltage is...well... abysmal. Statham runs around LA juicing, shooting, and banging all in the quest to find his heart. I wanted to give my heart to Statham's character so I could, gratefully, die. Thirty minutes into the movie, and I had the hunger for eternal darkness. It would have been better then what I was watching, Crank: Exploitative Garbage.

The movie moves at a feverish pace...out of necessity. Smash cuts were slight of hand tricks. I pictured a magician barking, "where there was once a story, we now have none!" Cutting to a new scene doesn't make the last one any better. With twenty minutes to go, I crept to the back row of the theater and passed the time texting and emailing. That was more entertaining.

have you time for another of my opinions? oh good.

the movie poster actually says "he was dead, then he got better." wow, that must have taken a really long time to come up with. i mean, it's so profound. i wonder if the tool that coined it now hates himself.

Actually, "he was dead, then he got better," made me laugh. I don't know what that says about me. The tool who coined it is probably in a cushy marketing job, sipping plum wine and watching Maury. Yah, that's the life.
