32 Stories: The Complete Optic Nerve Mini-Comics

Years ago, Kurt Vonnegut wrote down the Eight Rules for Writing Fiction. The seventh rule has always stuck with me, and I thought it worth sharing:

Write to please just one person. If you open a window and make love to the world, so to speak, your story will get pneumonia.

For instance, I write this blog for only one person. It helps, and makes me smile thinking I made that one person laugh.

Well, I think he's a little outdated You make love to the world, it is not pneumonia you'll get, but rather some kind of creepy critter in your pubes.

Anyway, you generally make me laugh! :)

I am glad that making one person laugh makes you smile, because that is probably an accurate number.
