I'm a Farm Town playa. It's such a dumb game but I'm hooked (If I can get so easily hooked on a silly game like this, it's a miracle I've been able to fend off World of Warcraft.) What interests me is racking up as much money as possible to pimp out my farm. So, what's the best product to grow if you're get-rich-quick kind of guy/gal? I've crunched the numbers.

This first list looks at harvest sale price versus the cost to bring those crops to harvest [(Harvest Sale Price)/(Seeds + Plough)]

Grapes: 1.4
Tomato: 2
Rice: 1.9
Corn: 1.9
Potato: 1.65
Strawberry: 1.7

So, it appears the Tomato has the best returns, but is it really the best crop? Depends on the numbers you're considering. Look at the Coins per Hour (CpH) (Harvest Sale Price)/(Hours to Harvest)

Grapes: 14
Tomato: 2.92
Rice: 3.96
Corn: 3.96
Potato: 4.13
Strawberry: 3.54

Of course, that's the gross CpH. We should also examine the net CpH [(Harvest Sale Price) - (Seeds + Plough)]/(Hours to Harvest):

Grapes: 4
Tomato: 1.46
Rice: 1.88
Corn: 1.88
Potato: 1.63
Strawberry: 1.46

My god! Grow grapes! As many as your land will allow! The returns are phenomenal.
