Was it Plato that said "Know Thyself"? I think it was. No matter who it was, I'm a failure when it comes to that. I smother myself with who I "should" be, and act how I "should" act, that I'm a genuine mystery.
If you know me, then you're pretty talented, because I'm disingenuous. I realized that tonight... and with that admittance I sat down to watch some Scrubs. And, I'm not a big believer in "divine intervention," but the issue JD was wrestling with was being honest, and letting your guard down. It was a "wow" moment, because that's who I am. I'm the guy who won't open to anyone, because I think everyone is going to betray me. How's that for a Thursday night revelation?
I guess I got to know myself a little better tonight. It's an uglier "me" but it gives me something to work on.

I think you know yourself better than most people I know because you take the time to think about things. Many people never really process situations or their actions and reactions, but I think you're the kind of person who will replay things that happen in your mind until you feel like you've explored everyone's actions and thoughts and motives adequately, including your own. I could be presumptuous here, but that's what I see.
