I'll Take the Digested Meal

Did you know many species consume food only to regurgitate into the mouth to their young? I remember hearing that in elementary school and thinking, "gross."

Fast forward to this afternoon.

I'm looking at my lunch, a burger that, although delicious, looks like a regurgitated meal. I half expected the chef to burst out of the kitchen, arms flailing, and screaming, 'don't eat that! That regurgitated meal is for the penguin at table 4!'

Now I'm picturing a little penguin flipping through the menu. Adorable!
