Why do people insist on speeding up when there's a passing lane? You've been cruising along at 35 mph on the highway, but suddenly, when people have the opportunity to pass you decide 70mph is more your speed? You S.O.B. We've all suffered behind you, let us pass. If we don't take the chance to tear by you now, and the passing lane closes, you'll slow back to 35.

People hate being passed, as if it's some sort of indictment about their driving. Which, in this case it is. Out of the way gramps!
