I've mentioned I am forgetful. Well, here's another shining example. I recently wrote a check, but forgot where I left it. Somehow, the check wound up on the street where a thoughtful woman found it and mailed it to me. She wrote me a very kind note too. I was going to take a picture of the check and note to post on the blog, with some message like, "wow! Am I ever forgetful." Well, and I am not making this up, I seem to have lost the check again.
