Panda Bear

I'm drifting to sleep while watching Before Sunrise, and I can't imagine anything better. A film about reconnecting and love? Awwww.

As dumb as it sounds, this movie makes me feel safe. I adore this movie. I get a big, stupid grin on my face every time I watch it. Like right now. Big, sappy, grin.

Have you not seen it? Watch Before Sunrise, and then Before Sunset. A worthy three hour commitment.

I love these movies so much. It's unbelievable, but I think the second one is so much better. There isn't that youthful optimism really shining through, it like how it's life after that huge dreaming period is over and just about what kind of person you turn out to be.

That's a really good point. Aside from the structure, a couple people walking around and talking, they're very differnt movies. I think the most moving scene is when Jesse and Celine are emotionally opening up in the car, and they come so close to touching each other. That scene kills me.

I feel like watching it again now. Do you like Down With Love? That's a great romantic movie too.

Oh I love that scene. He is about to touch her neck/hair when she is looking away!

I have seen Down With Love, I liked it, but it's a little more hokey to me than Before Sunrise/Before Sunset. Down With Love is kind of Broadway musical-esque, with the bright sets and music ques to when something dawns on characters.

I like all the realistic stuff the best. :)

That scene on your page is from Before Sunset, not Sunrise.

Oh Em! You're equal parts intelligence and pain in the ass. I can't believe no one else, including myself, caught that. You're absolutely right. Thanks.
