Since I was in elementary school and finished a book, I take the first word and the last word of the book, and see if they can be arranged together to say anything interesting.
For instance, I just finished Twins for the Teacher, and the first/last phrase? "Enrolling dreams." That's intriguing.

It was pure schmaltz. I think the funniest part was when the woman compared her lover to porridge that was "just right." I need to find that line.
