Over a month ago Avenue Q rolled through Sacramento, and I was fortunate enough to get a seat. It was a great musical with a creative score, impressive voices, and brilliant set design. Yet, what I recall most clearly is the actress with the bubble butt. It was a shelf. I was way back in row N, and I was distracted. I wanted to stand up and say, "puppets schmuppets, is anyone else noticing this?" I was transfixed.
All the black pants in the world couldn't hide that. I would mention the actress by name, but if you see the play, you'll spot her within seconds. Nanoseconds. The curtain will rise and, "bam! That's her."
