Minesweeper

It's always nice to have a date. Sure, there's value in companionship, but there's more value in the introductions.

You see, I forget names, all the time. That is assuming, of course, I listened to your name the first time you told me it. I'm usually more focused on shaking hands firmly, eye contact, and smiling. Listening to a name is one demand to many.

That's where a date comes in handy. I always instruct whomever I'm with to introduce themselves to person X if I don't initiate an introduction. If I don't introduce X, it's, typically, because I forgot their name. I follow with, "oh wow! I'm sorry. I'm so bad at introductions." Truth is, I'm terrible at remembering, and don't want to be that jeez-what-is-your-name? guy. That would look terrible.

You, too, can turn your date into a face saving asset!
