I just informed my doctor I won't be able to make my annual physical. The nurse, exasperated, informed me, "this is the fourth time we have had to change your appointment!" She clearly wanted a reason, so I offered up the honest one:

"I am still too fat, and would like more time to lose weight."

She was quiet for a second, and then pushed my appointment back to June. I think she was reeling from honesty shock.
