22 Dogs in a Car

The homeless who congregate in the alley behind my apartment complex occasionally attempt to bust their way into the laundry room. We figure they're trying to get out of the cold, or maybe just steal some Snuggle Fabric Softener (who doesn't love that cuddly little bear!?) .

I'm sure you're waiting for me to be crass, and make fun of the homeless. Well, I won't. I feel terrible for the homeless. That's a rough life.

I do, however, smile when I imagine Tiny Tim and Oliver Twist attempting to pick the laundry room lock ("please suh, can I have some more Tide?"). Sometimes, fiction helps get through a sad reality.
