At the Med 7 clinic today, while waiting to get my tetanus shot, I was weighed for their records. I stood on the platform, and the nurse adjusted the scales; she announced I was 282 pounds. I cringed and offered her $20 if she would write 250. She giggled, but I was serious. 282 is pretty embarrassing.
