Acne is frustrating, and that got me thinking about Muslims. I wish I were a Muslim woman sporting a hijab. My motives are self serving, I want my blemishes tucked away. In the Quran God states one should guard their modesty; "they should not display their beauty and adornments....they should cast their outer garments over their person." I hear, "muzzle that face under a blanket of black."
Great idea God! Everyone looks better hidden! Extend this mask privilege to men! A hijab can hide acne, and missing teeth, and a bulbous nose with only one gigantic nostril... just one (due in large part to botched plastic surgery (I hear things)). A quick swath of cotton turns ugly into alluring!
