DUDE! Don't you know anti-bacterial only works on bacteria! You're still a mighty home to viruses- which cause you to get colds and flu's. Did you know the average bottle of Purel (outside and on pump) contain more viruses than a snot-nosed 5 year olds?
i just wiped down my entire workspace with the bottle of purell next to my desk but now I'm wondering if my steamer needs to take a trip to the office as well. steam kills viruses right?
Nope. Sorry. Generally, though, things like wipes and sprays help. While they don't KILL the viruses, they make the surface "wetter", thus making them easier to wipe, or scoot off the surface. When washing your hands, you're not KILLING the viruses, you're simply making the water wetter by using soap, then, like a water slide, allowing them to glide off your hands into the sink.
Shit, where is my pocket protector with a comment like that.

:) You're welcome.
It is tough. And. Rebecca...you've blasted me in the fast with intelligence. I'd like to say I'll change my ways. But...well...old habits die hard.
And...
Linus drug his blanket all over the ground...and he was fine So...um...that's pretty gross. How sad I'm using an animated blanket as my defense.

Steam can kill a virus? What?

So peeing on your hands would have the same cleaning effect, right Doc?
