We're flooded with lists at this time of year. Pundits jump on a soapbox to either spit shine, or curb stomp 2008. The Best of 2008! The Worst of 2008! We'll never have it this good again! Thank God it's behind us!

We camp at either extreme, because we preach the middle is inhospitable.

Yet, it seems more honest to be in the middle. How about remembering 2008 as just another year. Not the best, or the worst. In honor of just another year, I present: The Most Mediocre Pictures I Took in 2008:
