I'm concerned. Tonight, Marcus Crowder of the Sacramento Bee stops by The Comedy Spot to watch, and ultimately review our shows. Despite Marcus looking like one hard-to-impress reviewer (check out his imposing pic below....yikes!) I'm not worried about him. I'm worried about other performers, who may... I mean will... jam the scenes with "funny" because Crowder is in the audience. Oh Lord, they know not what they do.
Many believe improving a scene means making it funnier, and many more believe funny can be forced into a scene. Ironically, trying to surgically add funny kills a scene. A scene can't survive comedy implants, and if it does, it doesn't walk right (in this metaphor, comedy is a destructive boob job!). I hope the performers are calm tonight. They need to be, or Marcus will suffer through a limp improv product.

Just don't talk about your addiction to porn, and you should be ok. :D
