I’m visiting Ireland in January, and trying to arrange the flight. When I called Aer Lingus and inquired about their refund policy, the very kind woman on the phone said, “We are an Irish airline, so people call us with some sad stories, but we can’t change the price.” I know it was unintended, but her tone gave the impression the Irish have a monopoly on tragedy. I wanted to press her for examples, half expecting her to follow up with, “remember Angela’s Ashes? I live that every day!”

Let me know how you like Aer Lingus...I've been looking at flights with them all week and they have pretty good deals.
