I Praise the Passion, but...

I'm rummaging around blogger.com, and I'm amazed at the number of negative bloggers. They're just so damn angry. Is life really that bad? Molly, of http://mollysavestheday.blogspot.com/, calm down. She rails against office depot chairs, conservatives, t-shirts, and those who would prevent abortions (and that's in four posts). I fear she'll soon die, another victim of a stress induced aneurysm. I know I rip into a number of subjects, but it's usually tongue and cheek. Maybe I'll have to review my writings...see if what I'm touting is total hypocrisy.

The funny thing is, people seem to love all the vitriol. Molly, for example, has dozens of comments left by bloggers just as furious as she. The enraged seem ecstatic to find their bitter brothers/sisters online.

I must add, I linked my site to Molly's for entertainment and inspiration. It's hilarious, and, at the same time, sad. Molly has such passion, but released in bursts of hatred. I can only imagine what she'd be capable of creating if she were happy. And that is where I'm inspired. I won't spend my days loathing, it'll only exhaust me and keep me from productivity.

Ha! I say that with a serious face. I know I'll revert to hating sometime, but Molly's site is a reminder I need to get away from that as much as possible.
