I judge people based on the movies they love. You may believe it's a shallow yardstick, but a person's favorites proves to be great personality shorthand. So, what does your beloved films say about you? I'd be happy to tell you, so send 'em in. It's like palm reading with celluloid.
Oh, and I just need to get this out: I hate Office Space. Those who love Office Space, and unfortunately the group grows instead of withers, nonverbally informs me, "I love the stereotype of the unproductive boss. Instead of a challenging portrayal of management, I'll bathe in Lake Regurgitated Cliche."
Now, if you're incensed, and still reading, I'd welcome a rebuttal. Why is Office Space so good? Tell me, please! I'm opinionated, but not entrenched in my "distaste" (a savvy way of saying, "Office Space makes me want to hurl."). Perhaps, with your insight I'll learn to love. Maybe.

See, I love office space.....but I didn't until I worked in a cube farm. The little quirks and office politics that arise are astounding--and it's funny to see them satirized or exaggerated in a movie.
Example: I hated the fucking goddamned piece of shit fax machine at my old job. it would flash an error message at me that there is a "ERROR-PAPER JAM" with that horrible organe light. The horrible thing was that most of the time i DID NOT find a single piece of paper stuck anywhere! I'd open and close the stupid door a few times (and slam it shut) and the error message would go away.
Relevance to the movie: when that one guy smashes the HELL out of the fax machine with the baseball bat.
I guess when you feel a connection to something, it's funny.
I LOVE Officespace...LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have been working inside an office for practically all of my working life. This is the state hands down. Just the bullshit that goes on.
Adding the stupid cover letter, typing bullshit things that will never be used for anything, having a boss that does nothing, just everything about that movie is like a hero for us measly office workers.
