Life Changin' Links: NY Grand Buffet

Buffets, I agree, are questionable eating (or stuffing) establishments. Typically, the food rivals...well...nothing. The buffet offers troughs of mediocre fair waiting for thin patrons. Ha! Thin patrons? Have you ever seen a buffet on a second story? It would be an unsafe practice; the floor would buckle sending buffet buffs crashing to the ground, because, honestly, a buffets collective customer weight can only be supported by earth, ground floor.

But, amid all these so-so buffets exist the NY Grand Buffet, an achievement, and a leap forward if you will in buffet design. It's a classy establishment, and its primary focus is Asian food. If you love Mongolian BBQ, sushi, or Chinese food, my god man/woman!… Go! I found the place remarkable with it's airy layout, expansive selection, and attentive staff. It's life changing in that you'll develop a NY Grand Buffet standard (the NYGB). You'll begin measuring future buffet experiences against the NYGB. So far, nothing has come close.

You have clearly never been to Fugi's, my friend. It's a sushi buffet, but it's like a regular restaurant because you can sit there and order anything you want, and the chefs make it fresh for you. I know my sushi, and this is quality stuff. I went there for lunch today, and by the time it was half an hour before opening time, there was a line that stretched around the block.
