and tell me if you think they're sexing up what looks like a very young girl. And, as I get more into Anime, this isn't the only series to sexify young looking women. I know....I know....we're told Armitage is an adult, and so are the other sexy women. They're all adults. However, many of these women look like children? The men look like they're pushing 30, while the women look like they're giddy for their upcoming sixteenth birthday.
Now, back to pedophilia. We have Japanese animators portraying women, young in appearance, provocatively dressed and sexually "alert" (how's that for careful phrasing) who are drawn towards older guys. Call me crazy, but methinks this sends the wrong message, to everyday Joes in Japan. Why single out the Joe of Japan? Because, the Japanese are accustomed to anime, while the average American does not consider anime mainstream. Could these sedutive lasses boost the rate of pedophilia in Japan?
Now, I'm not saying pedophilia is higher in Japan. This is simply tongue and cheek curiosity, because if you think American media is provocative, watch some Japanese animation.

In one of my women studies class (i know, i know), we spoke about prostitution (girls that were forced into it, etc) and the rich japanese business men liked some KINKY ass stuff. I mean, helllla kinky. I must've blocked it from my mind because I can't remember specifics.
