Bad, Grammer...on "Craigslist"!

Has there been a punctuation meeting, and an agreement that the period is antiquated? I am a craigslist.org addict...and I've begun noticing many of the posters just ignore grammar and construct these massive run-on sentences. Everything is mashed together, and it's infuriating. Where does the sentence end and another begin? How can anyone be taken seriously if they ignore (or, possibly ignorant) of basic grammar formalities. Give me a minute to vent.

"God d*m* f*c*i*g idiots!"

If you notice flaws in my grammar.... would you be so kind as to point them out? I can't rip others and ignore my own mistakes. Honestly...let me know.... I’m always looking to improve my writing.

Ahem.

"Everything is mashed together, and it's infuriating."

The comma after "together" shouldn't be there.

I have to disagree with Flo. Your use of the comma was correct. It's a compound sentence joined by a coordinating conjunction which requires a comma.

i disagree with kell--you can put a comma there but it's better not to. something i learned while writing stupid letters and memos to stupid state workers.

right?
